Job Description:
As a Wire Technician, you'll work independently at customer homes and businesses, installing high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. Your typical day will involve meeting new people, solving problems, and performing various tasks such as installing new lines, climbing ladders, and activating Wi-Fi networks. No two days will be the same, offering a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Salary:
- An hourly wage of $16.25 to $27.48 is offered for this position
- The average introductory pay for a person is $48,000 annually

Responsibilities:
- Carry out the task of technological equipment installation in an independent manner.
- Candidates are expected to have availability during evenings and weekends for this position, as the work schedule is flexible.
- It is imperative to have a valid state-issued driver's license.
- Proficient in lifting and transferring weights of up to 60 pounds and undertaking tasks in compact areas or overhead spaces.
- Be ready to go above and beyond by being available for overtime, emergency calls, and holiday shifts.
- It is important to be aware of the specific wire and cable colors assigned to different circuits to promote accuracy and avoid errors.
- These assessments come in many forms, including personality tests, cognitive exams, and skills tests that measure specific abilities related to the job role.
Qualifications:
- Scheduling flexibility is important, and that could mean working nights and weekends.
- Carrying a valid and authorized driver's license as per state laws.
- Being capable of lifting and transporting objects weighing up to 60 pounds, and performing tasks in confined or high-up settings.
- Being open to working overtime, responding urgently to callouts, and being ready to work during public holidays.
